1. Scope and developer

This Privacy Policy explains how LumiPounce (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accesses, processes, stores, and shares information. It applies to the LumiPounce mobile application with the package identifier com.dylan.lumipounce and to this policy webpage. The App is developed and published by XIONG HAO GUO.

2. Information processed on your device

The App may store the following information locally:

• language, sound level, and other on-device preferences;
• the selected prey type and locally calculated gameplay statistics;
• cat profiles created by the owner, including cat names, selected avatars, and the active cat;
• play records, such as date and time, catches, pounces, active time, first-pounce timing, movement style, and playful result titles; and
• local record identifiers and storage-version information needed to save data reliably.

These local identifiers are not advertising identifiers and are not used to identify you across apps or devices. The current App does not transmit this information to XIONG HAO GUO or to a LumiPounce server.

3. How local information is used

Local information is used only to provide App features: remembering preferences, switching between cat profiles, showing play history, calculating round results, adapting the on-device play experience, and creating share cards. The App does not use this information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking.

4. Storage, retention, and security

App information is stored through device-provided local storage, such as IndexedDB. It remains on the device until you clear it inside the App, uninstall the App, or the operating system removes the App’s storage. LumiPounce does not provide accounts, cloud backup, or cloud synchronization in the current version.

Because the information is stored on your device, its protection also depends on your device passcode, operating-system security, backups, and access controls. No storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

5. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell or share App data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. Share cards are generated on the device. An image is provided to another service only when the owner deliberately saves it or chooses a destination through the system share sheet. Any destination service then processes the image under its own privacy policy. We do not control copies you choose to share.

Apple, Google, your device manufacturer, and the app marketplace may independently process information related to downloads, purchases, security, diagnostics, and store use under their own terms and privacy policies. That processing is not performed by LumiPounce.

6. Permissions, audio, network access, and tracking

LumiPounce uses the device speaker to play locally generated game sounds and attention cues. The App does not access the microphone and does not record, analyze, store, or transmit audio.

The App uses temporary files and the operating system’s share function to create and share PNG images. The current Android App does not request Internet permission. The current App contains no advertising SDK, behavioral analytics SDK, tracking SDK, or third-party login SDK. LumiPounce does not track users across apps or websites and does not request access to contacts, location, camera, or microphone.

7. Your choices and deletion

You can delete all App data by opening Settings → Privacy & on-device data → Clear all on-device data. This permanently removes cat profiles, play records, the active cat, and local preferences from the App and cannot be undone.

Because we do not receive or hold this information on a server, we cannot view, export, restore, or remotely delete it for you. Images or records that you have shared with third parties must be managed through those third parties.

8. Children and animal safety

LumiPounce is intended for adult pet owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. An adult should supervise use, protect the device and screen, and stop play if a cat appears stressed, tired, or uninterested.

9. International data transfers

The current App does not transmit cat profiles or play history to us, so LumiPounce does not perform international transfers of that App data. A service you deliberately select for sharing may process data in other countries under its own policy.

10. This policy webpage

This webpage is designed without cookies, analytics scripts, advertising, accounts, or contact forms. Depending on the hosting provider, standard technical logs—such as IP address, request time, browser type, and requested URL—may be processed to deliver and secure the webpage. We do not use such logs for advertising, profiling, or sale.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when App features, legal requirements, or data practices change. If accounts, online leaderboards, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or server storage are introduced, this policy and the relevant store disclosures will be updated before those features are enabled. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
